AMAA volunteers attend the Northern Gold Coast Seniors Expo

AMAA volunteers attended the Northern Gold Coast Seniors Expo on Wednesday 29 July in Runaway Bay.  The annual event is hosted by the Member for Fadden, the Hon. Stuart Robert MP, and was attended by over 3,000 people.

AMAA was pleased to be able to share with visitors the latest information on asbestos safety including the AMAA Patient Booklet and resources from the Asbestos Safety and Eradication Agency.  There was a huge level of interest in AMAA’s support, information and community projects being held in our region.

Thank you to our volunteers (pictured below with the Hon. Stuart Robert MP centre), Robyn Schatz (left) and Patricia and Jim Cooke.  Special mention to Heath Jones and Sean Ryan from Turner Freeman Lawyers who also came by the stall to support our volunteers and encourage asbestos safety.
