Annual AMAA Memorial Service

thumbnailThe annual AMAA Memorial Service will be held this Friday to honour people affected by asbestos, including the many AMAA members who have died of asbestos related diseases.

The service will include a heart felt presentation by international Asbestos Advocate, Lou Williams, who will share her personal experiences following her diagnosis with mesothelioma. Lou will be joined by Barry Robson, President of the Asbestos Diseases Foundation of Australia, as well as local dignitaries and government representatives.

Of special note will be the musical talents of the Combined Union Choir as well as the traditional flag lowering ceremony accompanied by bag pipes.

It will be a very moving tribute and we encourage you to stay for shared refreshments at the conclusion of the service.

We look forward to meeting you on this special day. Please RSVP for catering purposes to AMAA 1800 017 758 or email info@www.asbestosassociation.com.au.
